2013 05 Rotary Health Day

George Rotary assisted the Department of Health with a Health Day to promote health in the community. The venue was the Community Centre in Thembalethu.

York High Interactors played a significant role and did a magnificent job of looking after and entertaining the children during the event. The Jumping Castle was a firm favourite with all the children.

Rotarians manned the tables, helped with the completion of the registration and record forms, and directed the public in the right direction. Nurses and Sisters from local hospitals and clinics attended to the patients and administered the Innoculations.

The Rotarians also arranged for refreshments and lunch for all the workers.
