2013 05 GSE Team from Japan

Tuesday, 2 April, 2013
We were priviliged to host a wonderful friendly and polite team of young people from Japan. The team was lead by Rotarian Tatsuya Kitase, owner of a scaffolding company. Team members were Erica Miyazawa, a librarian, Makoto Nobe, a Pharmacist, and Naoko Bio, a sports agent.

During their stay in George the team had a full programme which kept them busy. The first day was a vocational day when they were taken to places in and around George relevant to their individual Vocations.

On the second day Charles Rowe and Susanne took them on a fun day to Oudtshoorn to see the Wild Life Farm and the Cango Caves.

The third day was for Rotary projects and they were taken to see a few of our projects in George.

Thanks to Charles Rowe for all the arrangements and driving; and to Ian, Ferdie, Philip, Lynn, Christo and Kobie for hosting and to Susanne and Donald for assisting with the vocational and Rotary visits. Thanks too to Susanne for the loan of her Caravelle.
